Skilled Fitter focuses on pre-assembly preparation of mechanical and fabricated assembly’s e.g. de-burring, counter sinking and tapping etc.

What the role involves

• Pre-assembly preparation of mechanical and fabricated assembly’s e.g. de-burring, counter sinking and tapping etc.
• Wiring of low voltage panels.
• Preparation of sub-assemblies.
• Assembly of finished product, on time and to the required standard.
• Testing of electro-mechanical products to a high standard.

• Practical knowledge and experience of engineering practices, e.g. drilling and tapping.
• Ability to read manufacturing.
