Skilled Mechanical Operatives focuses on preparing components and cabinets ready for build.

What the role involves

• Preparing components and cabinets ready for build.
• Carry out basic wiring connections and connect electrical devices where required.
• Follow build notes and technical instructions.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and product quality (“Right First Time”).
• Carry out rework, corrections, and modifications when required.
• Maintaining 5S standards and a clean, organised work environment.

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical assembly or fitting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience in testing, fault finding, or leak testing.

Confirmed role details

• Temporary ongoing.
• Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays (pro rata, accrued).
• Basic Early Shift (06:00 – 14:15): £18.26 per hour.
• Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 14:15.
