What the role involves
- Manage the day-to-day warehouse operation with effective results and priorities.
- Responsible for driving improvements in warehouse picking accuracy, quality and service levels to deliver excellent standards of customer care.
- Provide visible leadership in warehouse excellence standards, behaviours and systems of work.
- Ensure a safe working environment with the goal of zero harm to employees.
- Promote a positive warehouse culture with engagement, training and regular audits.
- For leading warehouse continuous improvement, PDCA practical problem solving and lean manufacturing activities to achieve warehouse operational excellence.
Confirmed role details
- Monday-Thursday: 9am–6pm, Friday 9am-5:30pm.
- Drive improvements in all aspects of the DC warehouse, together with ensuring all customer quality & delivery service levels are achieved.
- Deliver a culture where excellence in warehouse management and customer care is the norm.
- Ensure high levels of right-first time picking, packing and loading are continuously achieved, monitored via KPI’s.
