The Social Media Associate / Paid Internship position centres on supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.
Role overview
Create engaging, high-quality content for Street Child’s social media channels (including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X and Facebook). Stay constantly up to date with social media trends, formats, and platform developments, proactively identifying opportunities to keep content fresh and relevant.

Requirements
- Since 2008 we have helped over 1.6 million children to be safe, in school and learning.
- A strong, demonstrable interest in social media, content creation, and digital storytelling through academic, professional or personal channels.
- Excellent writing skills, with a clear ability to adapt tone and messaging for different platforms and audiences.
Job details
- 3-month contract initially with strong potential for extension.
- Street Child London HQ (minimum 3 days per week in the office and the remainder at home).
- The organisation has a strong track record of offering extended contracts and permanent roles to high-performing Associates.
- Associate roles are paid at the appropriate National Minimum Wage rate and are initially expected to work 3 – 5 days a week during the first 3 months.
