Social Value and Sustainability Adviser focuses on build strong relationships, and bring innovative approaches to engaging local communities and key partners.

What the role involves

  • Build strong relationships, and bring innovative approaches to engaging local communities and key partners.
  • Develop and implement social value action plans with clear timelines and outcomes.
  • Delivering all social value commitments outlined in the contract.
  • Build partnerships with charities, VCSEs, colleges and community groups, including trainee programmes and work with Glasshouse.
  • Influence and engage stakeholders, acting as the central coordinator for social value activity.
  • Enter monthly social value data into the Social Value Portal in line with the TOM System.

Skills and requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and people-engagement skills, with the ability to inspire, encourage and influence.
  • Proven ability to build meaningful and productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent understanding of national Social Value frameworks and reporting standards.
  • Working with customers day by day, side by side, we understand every aspect of the user experience.
