Job Title: Social Worker – Assessment Team
Location: Kirklees (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: £35 per hour

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adults Social Worker to join its client’s Assessment team based in Kirklees.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Carer Assessment & Approval: Conduct thorough assessments of prospective Shared Lives carers, evaluating their suitability, home environment, and capacity to provide safe, person-centred support.
  • Flexible Engagement & Home Visits: Arrange and carry out home visits – including occasional evenings – to build rapport with applicants and gather detailed information to inform the approval process.
  • Documentation & Panel Preparation: Compile comprehensive assessment reports and present findings to the Shared Lives approval panel, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and scheme standards.

    • Qualifications & Experience:

    To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
