What the role involves

• As a Locum QSW, you will contribute to the operational delivery of an effective Vulnerable People Service.
• Focus on safeguarding, promoting well-being, and improving outcomes for at-risk individuals.
• Managing a complex caseload, you will conduct thorough assessments and create personalised support plans, commissioning individual care packages where necessary.
• Your work will play a crucial role in upholding the reputation of the Council while ensuring the best possible care for vulnerable adults.

Skills and requirements

• To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, and hold a degree-level qualification in Social Work.
• You should have post-qualified experience in adult safeguarding, with expertise in Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, risk assessments, and multi-agency collaboration.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to respond effectively to emergency safeguarding situations are essential.
