Social Worker

Social Worker focuses on undertake care act 2014 assessments, mental capacity assessments, and best interest decisions.

What the role involves

• Undertake Care Act 2014 assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments, and Best Interest decisions.
• Supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions, including those under the Care Programme Approach (CPA).
• Work in partnership with Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs), psychiatrists, GPs, and other professionals to deliver integrated care.
• Respond to safeguarding concerns and contribute to Section 42 enquiries where mental health is a factor.
• Support plans that promote recovery, autonomy, and social inclusion.
• Supporting hospital discharge planning and prevent unnecessary admissions through early intervention.

Skills and requirements

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
• Free DBS and compliance service.
• Twice weekly payroll and ‘Faster Pay’ service, getting you paid more quickly.
