What the role involves

• Managing a caseload involving routine social work interventions, escalating complex cases as needed.
• Develop support plans that promote safety and wellbeing.
• Work with children, families, and carers to assess risks.
• Design care/support plans, including education plans, ensuring they are evidence-based and regularly reviewed.
• Collaborate with experienced practitioners and receive mentoring to build confidence and autonomy in decision-making.
• Operate within a duty system on a rota basis, responding to urgent cases and managing crisis situations effectively.

Skills and requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration.
• Experience working with children and families in a statutory setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes for children.
• Twice weekly payroll and ‘Faster Pay’ service, getting you paid more quickly.

Confirmed role details

• Up to £38 per hour (dependent upon experience).
