An established facilities services provider is working with a major healthcare site to appoint an experienced Soft FM Manager. This is a high-impact operational leadership role, managing large frontline teams and ensuringpliant, high-quality service delivery within aplex healthcare setting.
Your new role
Reporting into a senior leader within Soft FM, you will take ownership of domestic, porterage and security services, leading teams to create safe, clean and weing environments for patients, staff and visitors.
This position has responsibility for a sizeable, multi-shift workforce and a significant soft services budget. You’ll be a visible, hands-on leader, balancing people management, client engagement and performancepliance across a live healthcare contract.

Lead, motivate and develop large operational teams across cleaning, porterage and security servicesEnsure services consistently meet contractual SLAs and healthcarepliance standardsPlan and resource service delivery, including managing contingenciesMonitor performance, trends and KPIs, driving continuous improvementManage budgets, labour hours and forecastsOversee recruitment, training, absence management, retention and conductMaintain strong client relationships and act as an escalation point when requiredEnsurepliance with health & safety, COSHH and relevant legislationSupport a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned to organisational valuesWhat you'll need to succeed
Essential:
Strong people leadership experience within facilities or servicesIOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)Ability to manage workloads, rotas and performance against contractual demandsConfidentmunicator with strong stakeholder management skillsDesirable:
Experience within healthcare or similarly regulated environmentsProject or change management exposureUnderstanding of COSHHSIA Frontline Licence (or willingness to apply)What you'll get in return
