Where the work sits

The role is flexible with hybrid working but there will be a requirement for ad-hoc travel to AtkinsRéalis offices and client offices / site to support project delivery. Technical support in respect to soils management and its re-use as part of earthworks, construction and / or remediation.

How the role works day to day

Provide technical guidance, constructive support and mentoring to junior staff and supporting their technical development. Developing own competence and maintain CPD necessary to fulfil the responsibilities of the role, with support from the business on own training and development needs. Maintaining excellent professional relationships which will lead to and secure repeat business.

• The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.

What needs to be in place

• A minimum of 12 years relevant post-graduate experience.

• Degree qualified in a relevant engineering or science subject (e.g., geology, geotechnics, hydrogeology, chemistry, environmental science).
