Job description
As a Sous Chef, the work centres on the recruitment, training,coaching and development of the kitchen team to ensure the delivery ofexcellent food quality and guest satisfaction. It would suit someone who can bring supporting kitchen leadership, service flow, and food quality across service-by-service operations to the role.
Who the work supports
Min 18 months as Sous Chef with a background in a busy food operation and passion for food quality. Work closely with your head chef to effectivelycontrol stock and food GP, and identify opportunities to maximise profitability.
How support shows up
Responsible for the recruitment, training,coaching and development of the kitchen team to ensure the delivery ofexcellent food quality and guest satisfaction. Ensuring all team members are fully trained andaware of how food is stored, rotated and disposed of and monitoring theiradherence. To ensure that food and labour costs areeffectively managed in order to achieve a strong food margin and labour withinbudget.
