What the role involves

• Designing lesson plans aligned with standards, teaching grammar, and vocabulary.
• Setting and marking classwork, homework, and exams.
• Tracking progress to identify areas for improvement.
• Maintaining a positive, encouraging and safe environment.
• Reporting progress to parents, attending staff meetings, and collaborating with departments.
• Staying current with teaching techniques and curriculum changes.

Skills and requirements

• Fluency in Spanish.
• Teaching qualification with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• Previous experience working with young people in a school setting.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided).

• Position – Spanish Teacher.
• Start date – April 2026.
• Full Time/Part Time – Full Time, covering maternity leave.
• 8:00 am – 16:00 pm.
