How the role is set up

Provide tailored support to children with a range of SEND needs. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver individual learning plans.

Education skills and requirements

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Experience supporting children with SEND (including autism, communication needs, learning difficulties, or SEMH).
• Enhanced, Child Only DBS on the update service.

• An understanding of EHCPs and personalised support strategies.
• Full-time, Term-time only.

• We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive SEN School in DE3, working within their Enhanced Resource Unit (ERU).
