What the role involves

  • Deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and external professionals.
  • Use effective behaviour management strategies to support engagement and learning.
  • Monitoring pupil progress and adapt teaching approaches where needed.

Skills and requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with children with SEN, SEMH, or additional learning needs.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply.

  • Full Time, Term Time Only.
  • Start Date: September 2026 or sooner.
