What the role involves

  • Assess patient suitability for CBPMs through detailed review of medical history and prior treatments.
  • Develop personalised treatment plans.
  • Managing complex and treatment-resistant conditions using a holistic approach.
  • Maintaining accurate, compliant clinical records (e.g. Meddbase or similar).
  • Participate in clinical governance activities (audits, peer review, case discussions).

Skills and requirements

  • Full registration and licence to practise with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Medical degree with CCT (or equivalent).
  • Certification or training in CBPM prescribing.
  • Experience in clinical research, audit, or publication.
