What the role involves

• Delivering engaging, personalised 1:1 Maths and English sessions.
• Adapt lesson delivery to meet EHCP targets and individual learning needs.
• Use creative strategies to support engagement and overcome learning barriers.
• Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation through a calm, consistent approach.
• Provide clear feedback to parents, carers, and professionals.

Skills and requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths and English.
• Experience supporting students with SEN, particularly in a 1:1 setting.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience working with SEMH, Autism, or disengaged learners.

Confirmed role details

• GBP25 per hour (starting rate).
• Job Type: Temporary.
• 20 hours per week.
• Support students across Liverpool who require tailored, one-to-one learning support outside of mainstream education.
