Role overview

The post holder will work therapeutically with students, delivering high-quality speech and language support tailored to individual needs. Review EHCP targets, ensuring communication outcomes are effectively supported.· Provide specialist advice and practical strategies to teaching.

Main responsibilities

Record and evaluate student progress and outcomes. · Liaise with families, external professionals and multidisciplinary teams. · Support staff training and development in communication approaches.

Requirements

  • · HCPC registration and membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • · Experience delivering 1:1 and group therapy sessions.
  • · Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Job details

  • £7,820 - £8,910 Hourly rate inclusive of holiday pay uplift £24.43 - £27.84.
  • (*Salary inclusive of £2,000 market supplement, starting salary subject to qualifications and years’ experience).
  • Pay: £44,567 - £50,778.
