Speech and Language Therapist needed

Speech and Language Therapist needed focuses on delivering direct speech and language therapy of no less than 90 minutes per week.

What the role involves

• Delivering direct speech and language therapy of no less than 90 minutes per week.
• Three sessions per year (minimum 30 minutes per session).
• Attend and contribute to termly meetings with school professionals (1 hour per term).
• Complete annual reassessment of the young person (approximately 2 hours per year).
• Monitoring a weekly small-group social skills session (3-4 pupils), designed to.
• Develop turn-taking and peer interaction skills.

Skills and requirements

• HCPC registration (essential).
• Experience delivering therapy in line with EHCP outcomes.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• All safeguarding and vetting checks must be completed prior to starting.
