What the role involves
- Delivering structured ADI-R assessments remotely in line with national clinical guidance and best practice.
- Conduct comprehensive developmental history interviews with parents, carers and/or individuals as part of the autism diagnostic process.
- Use clinical judgement and professional expertise to contribute to diagnostic formulation using recognised frameworks such as DSM-5.
- Produce high-quality clinical reports summarising assessment findings and supporting diagnostic decisions.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation on the clinical platform.
- Communicate sensitively and effectively with patients, families and carers throughout the assessment process.
Skills and requirements
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Training or experience in additional autism assessment tools such as ADOS-2, 3Di or DISCO.
- Experience conducting remote diagnostic assessments.
Confirmed role details
- £60,000 per annum (Full-Time, Salaried).
- Strong clinical report writing skills.
- Ability to deliver assessments via remote or digital clinical platforms.
