Speech and Language Therapist focuses on delivering structured adi-r assessments remotely in line with national clinical guidance and best practice.

What the role involves

• Delivering structured ADI-R assessments remotely in line with national clinical guidance and best practice.
• Conduct comprehensive developmental history interviews with parents, carers and/or individuals as part of the autism diagnostic process.
• Use clinical judgement and professional expertise to contribute to diagnostic formulation using recognised frameworks such as DSM-5.
• Produce high-quality clinical reports summarising assessment findings and supporting diagnostic decisions.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation on the clinical platform.
• Communicate sensitively and effectively with patients, families and carers throughout the assessment process.

Skills and requirements

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Training or experience in additional autism assessment tools such as ADOS-2, 3Di or DISCO.
• Experience conducting remote diagnostic assessments.

Confirmed role details

• £60,000 per annum (Full-Time, Salaried).
• Strong clinical report writing skills.
• Ability to deliver assessments via remote or digital clinical platforms.
