Speech Language Specialist
Speech Language Specialist focuses on conduct speech and language assessments and contribute to ehcp outcomes.
What the role involves
- Conduct speech and language assessments and contribute to EHCP outcomes.
- Delivering 1:1, group and classroom-based therapy interventions.
- Supporting learners with speech, language, communication and social interaction needs.
- Create therapy plans, reports and clinical notes.
- Provide communication strategies and classroom recommendations to school staff.
- Work collaboratively with families, teachers and external professionals.
Skills and requirements
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT).
- Registered with (essential).
- Membership with preferred.
- Experience in paediatric, school-based or SEND settings preferred.
Confirmed role details
- Manchester / Wythenshawe / North West.
- £40,000–£50,000 (DOE).
- Full-time / Part-time considered.
- Play a vital role in delivering therapeutic interventions and supporting EHCP outcomes within a multidisciplinary team.
