Speech & Language Therapist focuses on care plan (ehcp) advice and recommendations.

What the role involves

  • Care Plan (EHCP) advice and recommendations.
  • Collaborative work with families, schools and multi-agency professionals.
  • Play a key role in ensuring children and young people receive high quality, evidence-based assessment and intervention to support educational outcomes.
  • Report writing and clinical reasoning skills.

Skills and requirements

  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Experience working with children and young people with SEND.
  • Experience contributing to EHCPs highly desirable.
  • Expert witness experience advantageous but not essential.

Confirmed role details

  • Join Us Roles are to start from July onwards and can be full-time, part-time, term-time only depending on preference.

Additional role context

  • Successful clinicians will have the opportunity to undertake.
  • Supervision of therapy assistant programmes where appropriate.
  • All bands from NQT to Management will be considered.
