This Speech & Language Therapist role with Witherslack Group is like is focused on across all of our specialist schools and children’s homes, we provide unrivalled levels of clinical support, both in terms of our expertise and breadth of provision. It would suit someone who can bring be a confident, engaging and effective, model, guide, leader and trainer to the role.

Where the work sits

The school will cater for up to 72 pupils aged 6 -16 with a wide range of needs including autism and social, emotional and mental health needs. Opening in September 2026, Bowersgate School is a purpose built, brand new, state of the art school.

What needs to be in place

• Be a specialist with proven skills and experience to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
• Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
• Need experience of supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure they are being provided with clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.
