Sports Academy Football Senior Sports Therapist focuses on will involve taking responsibility to provide a high-quality clinical service to designated athlete groups.

What the role involves

  • Will involve taking responsibility to provide a high-quality clinical service to designated athlete groups.
  • Alsolead and implement a strategy to maintain an excellent level of medical care provision for the Football Academy across both the men’s and women’s football programmes.
  • Oversee additional therapy staff, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Be expected to use your initiative and work independently, whilst being guided by Hartpury’sClinical Lead and Head of Medical Services.

Skills and requirements

  • Hold a degree in Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation.
  • Have demonstrable experience of working with developmental athletes and be able to manage a demanding caseload.
