Sr Application Engineer

Sr Application Engineer focuses on supporting customers with adoption and deployment of cadence custom ic design flow built on virtuoso and spectre platforms.

What the role involves

• Supporting customers with adoption and deployment of Cadence Custom IC design flow built on Virtuoso and Spectre platforms.
• Engage with customers to understand their design challenges and propose technical solutions, guidance on methodology and best practices.
• Driving technical campaigns, product demonstrations, evaluations and benchmarking in a customer‑facing and technically stimulating environment.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Engineering and Marketing teams to drive product improvements and increase proliferation of Cadence solutions.
• Acquire a strong technical understanding of the complete custom IC design flow.
• Deepen expertise in mixed‑signal design methodologies and advanced EDA tools.

Skills and requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Solid understanding of analog or mixed‑signal IC design flows within Cadence Virtuoso Studio environment.
• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in IC design, CAD, or application.
• 25 days holiday per year.
