Street Lighting Design Engineer
Street Lighting Design Engineer focuses on assisting in planning, organizing, and overseeing design projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
What the role involves
- Assisting in planning, organizing, and overseeing design projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Undertaking lighting designs using Lighting Reality design or similar software.
- Maintain design documentation, including project briefs, timelines, and works information. Ensure all files are organized and accessible.
- Management of external consultants undertaking designs.
- Review design outputs for accuracy and consistency, ensuring they align with project goals, the DMRB and relevant standards.
- Collect and organize feedback from the supply chain, client, and internal teams, ensuring it is communicated effectively.
Skills and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a Electrical or related field preferred.
- ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma preferred.
- Proven experience in a Highway Lighting projects.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
