Structural Engineers focuses on our defence and security provide design and engineering services for our nuclear and defence clients across the uk and abroad.

What the role involves

• Our Defence and Security provide design and engineering services for our nuclear and defence clients across the UK and abroad.
• Develop career minded people to bolster our well-established and growing multi-discipline engineering delivery capability to meet opportunities in the nuclear and defence industrie.
• We’ll inspire and empower you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow and succeed – today and into tomorrow.
• Maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
• Proven ability to manage projects and preparation of project deliverables, including managing quality, budget, programme and resources.
• Ideally Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer, or working towards this where we can support you.

Skills and requirements

• If you are a Structural Engineer with experience in the analysis.
• Knowledge of some of the following would be beneficial, but not essential.
• Good, accredited MEng degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Your application experience is important to us and we’re keen to adapt to make every interaction even better.

Confirmed role details

• We offer hybrid working with 1-2 days in the office.
• We’re happy to discuss hybrid, part-time and flexible working hours, patterns and locations to suit you and our business.

Candidate fit

• Good understanding of structural theory, with proven problem solving ability.

Additional role context

• Design of large industrial facilities, power station buildings, large manufacturing facilities, dockyards, etc then we want to speak with you.
• Seismic analysis and/or design.
• Good all-round technical design expertise using British, American and international standards, and/or Eurocodes.
