Structural/Outfit Detail Design Engineer

Structural/Outfit Detail Design Engineer focuses on creation of cad models and drawings: producing detailed 2d and 3d cad models and drawings to meet required standards.

What the role involves

• Creation of CAD Models and Drawings: Producing detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings to meet required standards.
• Ensuring all design deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
• Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders during appropriate design phases to ensure coordination and functionality of design.
• Project Support: Contributing to and supporting the entire project and product design cycle, from concept to construction and installation.
• Technical Support: Providing technical support during the construction and installation phases.
• Reporting of technical progress and issues to line management.

Skills and requirements

• Hold an NC/HNC or an equivalent qualification.
• Apprenticeship in relevant discipline or relevant industry experience.
• Be proficient in the use of one or more parametric/spec driven CAD system both in a 3D & 2D environment.
• Preferable T26 Experience.
