Structural Technician
Structural Technician focuses on preparing modelling documentation and drawings associated with riba stage reports, planning applications, and necessary approvals.
What the role involves
- Preparing modelling documentation and drawings associated with RIBA stage reports, planning applications, and necessary approvals.
- Undertake high level modelling studies to develop structural engineering options with the engineering team.
- Provide early advice with regards co-ordination with other disciplines.
- Preparing suitable renders to aid with conveying concepts and RIBA Stage reports.
- Create a reliable and co-ordinated BIM model in accordance with the company BIM policy.
- Provide ongoing advice to structural and civil engineering colleagues/clients/wider design team, in relation to the developing designs and details.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant prior professional experience as a REVIT technician within a building structures environment.
- Proven experience with complex building modelling.
- 26 days holiday per year, rising to 31 days with loyalty days, plus bank holidays.
