What the role involves

• AWS Regions provide multiple, physically separated and isolated Availability Zones which are connected with low latency, high throughput, and highly redundant networking.
• In this position, the candidate will work closely with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to manage the compliance and reporting requirements of the global AWS su.
• The candidate will also undertake financial and project management within the subsea engineering team to support the ongoing operations of our in-service network.
• We ensure that the delivery of the projects meet our high standards and specifications.
• Communications are crisp, timely and always advise a path forward.
• AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.

Skills and requirements

• Experience working in a program management capacity and/or leading large-scale complex projects.
• Knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/ fiber) cabling.
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership.
