What the role involves
- Provide technical support during start-up activities and changes in production and aftermarket volume.
- Leading capacity collaboration efforts with suppliers to ensure they have adequate resources, including people, training materials, tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
- As well as Build-In-Quality (BIQ) initiatives to improve supplier quality performance.
- Leading supplier management governance process to drive supplier shipping performance and quality improvement.
- Provide leadership and collaboration with suppliers, category management, and multiple facility functions to address.
- Resolve supplier issues using root cause and corrective action (RCCA).
