Supply Teacher
Job description
The Supply Teacher position in Suffolk, Essex and Hertfordshire centres on managing the behaviour of pupils throughout the lesson. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.
Where the work sits
All candidates must complete a Level 2 safeguarding training and prevent awareness training. We are looking for confident individuals over the age of 18 that can manage a large group of secondary school children and remain calm in challenging situations.
How the role works day to day
Managing the behaviour of pupils throughout the lesson. Take note of any issues that may arise to report back to the school. Act as a role model to the students and lead by example.
Practical details
- Flexible working hours available, along with part-time hours available too.
- Our schools typically operate between Mon – Fri, 08:30 – 15:15 but are closed during the school holidays and half-terms.
- The school year consists of 195 days in total.
- One to one support with our compliance officer and safeguarding lead.

- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
