Support Worker
Support Worker focuses on build strong professional relationships with the service users and other members of staff.
What the role involves
- Build strong professional relationships with the service users and other members of staff.
- Clean and enjoyable environment for the YPs to live and for you to work.
- Attend and take an active part in meetings as appropriate.
- Supporting YP in managing their own behaviour using approved skills.
- To promote equality, acknowledging individuals differences.
- Protect service users from any form of abuse from staff, visitors or service users.
Skills and requirements
- Complete an enhanced DBS with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete one of our induction programmes prior to any placements being offered.
Confirmed role details
- Please be aware that a high majority of our casual teams are offered full-time positions within the first three months from our clients.
- Awareness of how young people develop and learn.
Candidate fit
- Ability to read and understand written work and to write clear and accurate reports.
- Ability to communicate clearly and easily with young people in a variety of ways.
- Ability to go wherever service users want to go and participate in all activities.
