Support Worker focuses on we provide a clinical and laboratory service, managing a full range of haematological conditions to bcsh level 2a.

What the role involves

  • We provide a clinical and laboratory service, managing a full range of haematological conditions to BCSH level 2a.
  • Clinical haematology in-patient beds are shared with Integrated Care team.
  • The modern Blood Sciences laboratory is ISO15189 UKAS Accredited.

Skills and requirements

  • Full registration (and a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • FRCPath or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in one or more subspecialty areas and ability to take a lead role in that area.
  • Practical -Diagnosis and management of wide range of haematology disorders.
