Support Worker focuses on supporting deaf and hard-of-hearing learners in the classroom and across the curriculum. Collaborate with teaching staff and other support services.

BUPA health cash plan & occupational health services. Supporting people with care, daily routines, clinical tasks, or wellbeing according to the role remit. We are working with a leading further education provider to recruit a passionate Communication Support Worker (CSW) to support Deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

Practical details

  • This is a full-time, term-time role (37 hours/week) with opportunities to make a real difference in a dynamic, inclusive learning environment.
  • 27 days holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas closure.
  • Generous pension schemes (TPS , LGPS.
  • Additional detail: Pension support may be included.

Care skills and requirements

  • Level 3 BSL qualification (Signature, CACDP, SEG, or Scottish equivalent).
  • GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Experience supporting Deaf learners or those with SEND.
