• Supporting Worker focuses on provide one-on-one and small group support to sen students within a mainstream secondary classroom, helping them to access the curriculum effectively.
• Assisting teachers in implementing tailored learning plans, focusing on individual needs and goals for SEN students.
• Supporting students with their physical, emotional, and social development, ensuring they feel included and supported within the wider school community.
• Encourage positive behavior and independence, collaborating closely with the classroom teacher and SENCO to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Monitoring and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers, SENCO, and parents.

Skills and requirements

• If you have experience supporting children with diverse learning needs and are committed to helping them thrive within a mainstream classroom environment, we want to hear from you!
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or SEN Support Worker in a secondary school or similar environment.
• A caring and patient approach with strong communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with students, staff, and parents.
