The Support Worker position centres on work collaboratively with Senior Support Workers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standard of care. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.
Role overview
Closing date for application is 5pm, Thursday 30th April 2026 We are delighted to be recruiting Support Workers (Band 3) on behalf of our public sector client. Key Responsibilities: Support tenants in all aspects of daily living, including personal care, household tasks, and social activities.
Main responsibilities
Work collaboratively with Senior Support Workers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standard of care. Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in accordance with each tenant’s individual care plan. Assisting tenants in maintaining their tenancies, managing finances, and attending health or community appointments.

Requirements
- Hold NVQ/QCF Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care plus 6 months’ paid experience delivering direct care in a care environment.
- Be willing to complete QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care within one year of appointment.
- Excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within the Health and Social Care sector.
Job details
- Duration: Ongoing temporary contract until 30th September 2026, then reviewed to extend as required.
- Full-Time hours, 37 1/2 hours each week.
- This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team supporting adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible within their own homes and local communi.
- Additional detail: Training or development support may be provided.
