- Mencap are seeking Relief Support Workers to join our incredible team in Redruth.
- As a Relief Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.
- Be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
- From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.
- We support 4 people within one household who all get along very well, with a range of different needs.

- Relevant care, clinical, support, registration, DBS, or safeguarding requirements may apply.
Confirmed role details
- All our services are 24hr care.
- We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
- · Days: Between 07:30-22:00, Split shifts also available finishing at 15:30/16:00, or starting at 15:30-16:00.
- There is also a non contractual sleep-in available where you will receive an hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.

- ·A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Additional role context
- Daily activities can include, carriage driving, dance classes, volunteering jobs, walks along the beach, café trips, power boating or swimming.
- It is a very active house where there is always something going on!
- ·Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
