Support Worker focuses on as a residential support worker, you will support young people with their daily routines.
What the role involves
- As a Residential Support Worker, you will support young people with their daily routines.
- Build strong, meaningful relationships.
- Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.
Skills and requirements
- The home is a dual home, which means 2 children can live there, with 2 staff being on shift each day too.
- At the moment the home is closed and the plan is to recruit a full staff team before opening the home to referrals.
- At the moment the team members we do have are working in other homes to build some experience before coming together in our home when we have a full team.
- We support each other, and we come together to support our young people too.
Confirmed role details
- A simple "How was your day?", a shared laugh over a board game or encouragement during a tough moment - these small interactions build trust and shape lives.
- Fully Funded Diplomas (Levels 3-5) and clear pathways for promotion.
