What the role involves
- Supporting Worker focuses on we are seeking a waking night support officer to work 3 nights a week with one of our young people within our ofsted registered solo children's residentia.
- Supporting a young person who may wake and require reassurance, and/or help regulating their emotions.
- Routine nightly checks on the young person, monitoring their safety and wellbeing.
- Completing relevant logs and records to a high standard.
- Maintaining a safe environment and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
- Undertake domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and preparing the home for the following day.
Skills and requirements
- Experience in responding to challenging behaviour, previous experience working with children and young people is desired but not essential.
- Work collaboratively with day staff, ensuring smooth and consistent handover.
- Level 3 diploma is advantageous, however we will provide full training for the right candidate.
- UK valid driving license is also advantageous, but not essential.
