Job description

What you'll be doing

  • Build trusting relationships with residents, providing regular support to everyone in your caseload
  • Create and implement practical support plans focused on budgeting, finance management, and moving on
  • Advocate for your residents, liaising with agencies and services to ensure they get the support they need
  • Complete risk assessments and support plans, tailoring your approach to each resident's unique situation
  • Assist residents with practical issues and housing-related matters
  • Work as part of a supportive team, contributing to the smooth running of our temporary accommodation service

  • You might have lived experience that gives you insight into housing challenges
  • Your background could be in any people-focused role that required empathy and problem-solving
  • Experience in support work would be helpful but isn't essential if you have the right values and approach
