What the role involves

• Providing quality and consistent care to help meet the social, emotional, and behavioural needs of residents.
• Supporting young adults to do their favourite things and to try new activities, both at home and outdoors.
• Promoting the safety, welfare, and protection of the young adults we care for at all times.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant experience working in a supportive role.
• Willing to undertake personal care.
• Confident working with challenging behaviour.
• A genuine interest in social care.

Confirmed role details

• £12.93 per hour (+potential overtime).
• The Porthouse is a CQC registered supported living service which provides care for young adults with autism and learning disabilities based in Worcester Park.
• 28 days annual leave, increasing to 30 days after 5 years.
