Supportive Living Worker

Supportive Living Worker focuses on in this role, you will be part of a team to support service users throughout the day with basic tasks as supporting with meal preparation, personal care, cleaning and shopping.

What the role involves

• In this role, you will be part of a team to support service users throughout the day with basic tasks as supporting with meal preparation, personal care, cleaning and shopping.
• Build strong professional relationships with the service users and other members of staff.
• Clean and enjoyable environment for service user’s s to live and for you to work.
• Attend and take an active part in meetings as appropriate.
• To promote equality, acknowledging individual’s differences.
• Protect service users from any form of abuse from staff, visitors or service users.

Skills and requirements

• Complete an enhanced DBS with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete one of our induction assessments prior to any placements being offered.

Confirmed role details

• Fulbridge Social Care require staff teams for numerous shift patterns within elderly care homes and disability support settings.
• Awareness of the general health, safety and welfare of service users.
• 11pm – 7am (waking nights).

• Ability to read and understand written work and to write clear and accurate reports.
• Ability to communicate clearly and easily with service users in a variety of ways.
• Ability to go wherever service users want to go and participate in all activities.
