What the role involves

• Provide a specification and scope of work for capital planned works and planned works maintenance.
• Successfully manage projects and work with contractors to ensure work is being completed to a satisfactory standard.
• Work with colleagues across the Housing Service to ensure our properties meet the Decent Homes Standard and programme delivery is within the agreed timescales and budget provisions.

Skills and requirements

• Experience of planned programme delivery is desirable including knowledge of, CDM 2015, Building Regulations and Decent Homes Standard.
• Budget monitoring and adhering to planned programmes are essential to successful delivery of planned programmes.
• The ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues and contractors is required as well as tact, diplomacy, ability to negotiate and achieve defined performanc.
