Is based in Milton Keynes, with occasional travel to Ireland, offering a blend of strategic influence at ExCo level and close involvement in delivery, data and real-world outcomes. We're excited to be partnered with a leading UK & Ireland consumer brand, headquartered in the UK, to appoint a Sustainability Director at group level.

Main responsibilities

Set the Sustainability Direction - Define and deliver a clear sustainability strategy that aligns with commercial and operational priorities. Progress Carbon & Environmental Commitments - Lead carbon reduction initiatives across operations and the supply chain, translating ambition into measurable outcomes. Own Framework-Led Reporting - Lead financial and non-financial disclosures, including TCFD and IFRS/ISSB-aligned reporting.

Requirements

• Reporting Ownership & Expertise - Demonstrated experience owning TCFD and evolving IFRS/ISSB requirements and presenting clearly to senior audiences.
• Balanced Strategic & Delivery Focus - Comfortable setting direction while also working closely with data, supply chain activity and implementation.
• Experienced Sustainability Leadership - A background leading sustainability within a complex, consumer or supply-chain-led organisation.
