Job Title: Road Sweeper Driver
Location: Leyland
Salary: £19.00 per hour PLUS company pension and overtime opportunities
Role: Permanent – Full time | 4 on 4 off Night Shift

We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver to join an exciting and expanding business based within Leyland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver to secure a long-term, stable role within a respected and growing organisation.
This HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver role is purely nights, operating on a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern, offering excellent flexibility and consistent time off. You’ll be working with well-maintained, modern vehicles, new equipment, and a variety of night-time highway and infrastructure works across different sites, keeping the role varied, steady, and rewarding.
Ideal Candidate
· Experienced Road Sweeper Driver
· Happy and experienced working permanent night shifts
· Strong road planning and night-work experience
· Safety-focused with an excellent knowledge of highways regulations
· Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver – Key Responsibilities
· Safely operate HGV Class 2 road sweeper vehicles across various locations during night works
· Complete pre- and post-vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
· Maintain accurate daily logs and transport documentation
· Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to meet night-shift schedules
· Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and site safety procedures
