Swimming Teacher

The Swimming Teacher position centres on delivering high-quality swimming lessons for children aged 4–7 (Reception to Year 2). It would suit someone who can bring maintaining a safe, organised and hazard-free pool environment to the role.

Where the work sits

Assess pupils’ swimming ability. Be available to communicate with parents informally, where appropriate, regarding pupil progress.

Deliver high-quality swimming lessons for children aged 4–7 (Reception to Year 2). Monitor their progress over time. Adapt teaching to support a range of abilities and confidence levels.

Education skills and requirements
