System Engineer

System Engineer focuses on create, elicit, and document vehicle-level and system-level requirements for powertrain and charging system features using jama/doors.

What the role involves

• Create, elicit, and document vehicle-level and system-level requirements for Powertrain and Charging system features using JAMA/DOORS.
• Maintain system specifications, feature descriptions, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Design and validate Battery Pack (HV), Inverter, Motor, and On-Board Charger (OBC) requirements, including signals, messages, LIN schedules, and I/O mapping.
• Collaborate with software, electrical, validation, and vehicle integration teams to ensure consistent feature behavior.
• Supporting supplier interactions, including requirements clarification and issue tracking.
• Test cases, and acceptance criteria for Powertrain and Charging features.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
