What the role involves

• Also oversee supporting infrastructure such as chillers, data acquisition systems, and hardware-in-the-loop test systems needed to develop, validate.
• Drive practical solutions that balance technical quality, delivery pace and business priorities.
• Own system-level integration across electrical, mechanical and environmental interfaces, including EMI, thermal and environmental considerations.
• Leading subsystem layout, wiring, infrastructure design, supporting equipment selection and hardware-in-the-loop test capability.
• Develop and performance-manage the UK and US systems integration team.

Skills and requirements

• Drive engineering excellence within the organisation, previous experience with quantum computing is not required.
• Ensure qualification work is completed for global shipment of engineering and low-volume production systems, and keep stakeholders updated on progress, risks and issues.
• Drive system bring-up, validation, troubleshooting and qualification for global shipment.
• Ensure work is delivered to a level that meets the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
