How the role is set up

Where someone would start

Need a new Laptop or TV? We offer support purchasing Apple and LG products via Stormfront technology. Liaise with outsourced tax advisors in the completion of all Canadian income tax filings and collaborate with finance on GST provisioning and planning. Liaise with VP – Tax and third‑party advisors in the development and implementation of the Company’s U.S. specific tax strategy.

What is expected

• 8+ years of experience, preferably with a Big Four firm or with a publicly traded multinational company.
• Experience with IRC Sec. 163(j) and Base Erosion Anti‑Avoidance Tax (BEAT).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, advanced degree preferred.

Job details

• Advanced knowledge of ASC 740, including identifying book‑tax permanent and temporary differences, valuation allowance analysis, identifying uncertain tax positions, etc.
• You decide what your holiday looks like with the option to buy or sell your holiday and carry over up to 5 days into the next year.
• We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location.
• Complete ownership of the quarterly and annual income tax provision for all U.S. entities.
